who is nick & Navi

SISTERHOOD | UNITY | HARMONY

 

Nick & Navi are singer/ songwriting twins from the South Side of Chicago by way of Jamaica. Their Musical style is Island R & B- a fusion of Reggae and Urban, Rhythmic. Coming from a family whose roots run deep in Reggae + Dancehall music, the twins were raised around legends like Shabba Ranks and Patra. Watching them in their element inspired the twins to begin writing at the tender age of 10, but it was the 90's R&B girl group sound that pushed the sisters to pursue a career in music.  

In 2009,  Nick & Navi independently released their first album "Put In Work," followed by an EP "PH2" in 2012 under their previous name “Perfect Harmony”. Inspired by the response of their fans, the hardworking twins started their own music publishing company called "NickandNavi Music" and expanded their artistry into producing, songwriting, and curating visuals for other artists. 

Through the twins natural engagement in society they contribute to non-profit organizations in Jamaica to support performing arts and educational programs. Giving back is so important to the sister because aspiring our youth is key! Nick & Navi is now working on their third musical project.
